I weight 523lbs. can I still get a medicare no cost power wheelchair?

Definitely! A number of wheelchair manufacturers have developed power wheelchairs that have reinforced suspension, wheels, frame - you name it. Along with a more powerful battery to support the chair.

For your weight (500+ pounds) I would recommend the Jazzy 1650. The Jazzy 1650 has all the standard Jazzy features but is rated for up to 650 pounds. It also has a larger seat to fit your frame better. The Jazzy 1170 is also a reinforced power wheelchair, but it is rated for up to 500 pounds, so the best bet is the Jazzy 1650.

Man,

I got the Hoveround Bariatric Teknique XHD heavy duty power wheelchair and even if it actually just rocks my 452 pounds pretty well. I love it! Finally I can go shopping etc without getting so exhausted every two minutes. I received a call instantly after filling out the power chair eligibility form and a super nice lady recommended that wheelchair for me and also talked to my doctor to confirm that this is the right chair. I have to say Im happy that you guys launched this service and I didnt had to call around anymore.

Wheelchairs now are better than before. There are lots of designs to choose from according to your height and weight. So don't worry because of your weight, you can start searching the internet now to browse for a power wheelchair that can accommodate you. Cheer up!

The advantages of mobility scooters may heavily outweigh the disadvantages for those who are physically challenged. One of the main advantages of the scooters is that, for some people, if they lack the stamina in order to maintain the wheelchairs manual maneuvers, then this problem is solved. Another positive for the scooters is one that many would not even think to consider.
